We are seeking a motivated and eager individual to join our team as a Junior Compliance Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with limited controls knowledge, including Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) ISO27001 and ISO14001, to learn and grow within the compliance field.



Reporting to the Senior Compliance Officer, the successful candidate will work closely with the compliance team and various other departments to support the implementation and monitoring of compliance programs, including supplier onboarding. You will contribute to the development of a new IT risk and internal controls framework, helping to foster a culture of internal controls across the business.



Key Responsibilities:

- Provide risk reviews and recommendations to the risk and control team and key stakeholders

- Engage with control owners and operators to test SOX internal controls and improve testing and audit facilitation

- Review, evaluate, and document internal controls and design effectiveness testing and assessments

- Assist in the design, testing, implementation, and operational effectiveness of internal controls for third-party suppliers

- Provide input into committee packs for review by the head of security and participate in risk forums

- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of client compliance policies and procedures

- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement



Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field

- Knowledge of compliance regulations, including SOX

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

- Eagerness to learn and grow within the compliance field
