Redstone Commodity Search are working with a global trading house looking to hire a fertilisers trader to join the commercial team.


Key Responsibilities / Tasks


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best deals and ensure a reliable supply chain.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, prices, and supply-demand dynamics to make informed trading decisions.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored fertiliser solutions.
  • Managing risks, taking long / short positions.
  • Reports into CEO.


Key Qualifications / Experience


  • Proven experience in trading, sales, or a related role within the agricultural or fertiliser industry. Knowledge of agricultural practices and fertiliser products is highly desirable.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships, having active clients to bring is preferable.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
  • Role will be worked remotely.
