About the Role

The role requires UK security clearance- please refer to the below for more information: UK Security Vetting Clearance Levels



Location: Coventry (Hybrid and flexible working arrangements available – please discuss options with the recruiter).


Responsibilities

  • Conduct security threat and risk assessments.
  • Define initial security requirements and control groups.
  • Develop and implement a security assurance strategy.
  • Lead Security Engineering management planning.


Qualifications

Degree or equivalent qualification in a STEM subject (e.g., Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Risk Management).


Required Skills

  • Demonstrable risk management expertise.
  • Understanding of the engineering lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with technical controls.


Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in requirement derivation.
  • Knowledge of the MOD defense domain.
  • Strong technical writing abilities.
