Key Graduate Recruitment responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of Trainee and Training contract recruitment from on-boarding to qualification, including:

  • Managing of vacation schemes
  • Attending University law fairs
  • Lead of trainee recruitment marketing strategy (with support from marketing department where needed)
  • Manage relationship with RARE recruitment
  • Interviewing of candidates
  • Budget management
  • Trainee registration management


Key Business Services Recruitment Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with hiring managers, candidates and agencies, offering a best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Supporting Hiring Managers so that Job descriptions and adverts are as effective as they can be and give the firm the best chance of hiring top talent in the market
  • Direct recruiting as well as effective management of Agency PSL for when Agency support is required
  • Managing at times a high workload and pressure to deliver in peak times within the year


What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • Experience in managing all trainee recruitment and training contract programmes
  • Experience managing Business Services recruitment in Law firms
  • An ability to manage a busy workload, highly organised and efficient with time
  • Someone who has a good record for direct recruitment of Business Services roles
  • Strong sourcing skills including Linkedin Recuiter searches/projects
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Resilience and drive
  • Effective offer management capabilities
  • Someone who is numerate and comfortable with data to an intermediate level
  • A curious mind and someone who has an interest in recruitment innovation including sourcing tools, AI etc
  • Someone who is process-driven and who sees the importance of system/data integrity
