The Plough Hotel has it all, a busy pub, high-end restaurant, 7 beautifully presented letting rooms and large function/wedding venue. This is the type of business that will really challenge you.

You will be a focused team player that galvanises & inspires your team to be the best they can be. This pub is about every guest having an incredible experience every time they visit.

Having a passion for great food and being able to deliver this in volume and to an exemplary standard is essential for this business, whilst also being able to host your guests and keep them coming back week in week out is key. Attention to detail of all aspects of the business will ensure the Plough maximises its opportunity moving forwards.

The Pub

The Plough sits imposingly on the main road into the town of Alnwick, just outside the city walls. Alnwick is a 40 minute drive away Newcastle upon Tyne and sits right in the middle of the beautiful county of Northumberland.

The town is increasingly becoming a real hotspot for visitors and tourists to the area coming to visit the Alnwick Castle and Gardens. Alnwick is especially busy now through the Spring and Summer where there is a shortage locally of good quality letting rooms this is a huge opportunity for the Plough.

The pub comprises of an outside sun trap terrace as you step up off the street and into the main bar, a lounge area to the rear, and then exquisite dining room up the stairs which is decorated to a very high standard.

7 letting rooms and a separate function room finish off the offering at the pub, but bring an extra dimension in terms of bookings for private parties and numerous weddings throughout the year.
