Meaningful Work From Day One
Responsible for the development and implementation of all environmental, health and safety regulatory compliance and environmental sustainability activities at Brown-Forman's six European production facilities in Scotland, France and Ireland. Time allocated would be 80% Scotland, 10% France, 10% Ireland.

What You Can Expect

● You will be responsible for ensuring all sites operate within their country specific environment, health, and safety (EHS) regulatory and compliance requirements.

● You will collaborate with site leaders, the EHS Advisor and front line leaders to develop and implement site specific strategies, programs and process improvements to reduce injuries and illness.

● You will lead adherence, across Europe, to Brown-Forman's key safety performance indicators, and do this with a Responsible Production mindset

● Continue to drive our proactive Health and Safety culture and reduce risk taking behaviours to prevent incidents in the workplace.

● Drive employee involvement and accountability in EHS performance at all levels of the organization.

● You will lead improvements to our Environmental performance and contribute to Brown-Forman's Environmental Sustainability targets by developing strategies using the latest technologies and ways of working.

● You will own the EHS budgets (capital and operating). Provide guidance and leadership on budgetary requirements and manage spend in line with approved budgets.

● You will develop and maintain excellent local and national EHS agency relationships.

● Facilitate EHS incident investigations to determine root cause and support site teams to identify sustainable solutions utilizing 5 whys/7 ways.

● Support BF wellness activities to promote workplace and home employee health.

● Work with the Global Security Director to develop strategies that maintain secure operations.

● Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for Brown-Forman's European Operations for all crisis situations in regards to EHS

What You Bring to the Table

● Degree qualified or Chartered Occupational Safety & Health professional plus significant experience leading EHS compliance programs in a manufacturing environment, including process safety.

● Demonstrated/proven working knowledge of local EHS regulatory framework across the UK and Europe.

● Demonstrated inclusive leadership and excellent communication skills. Ability to build and sustain excellent business relationships internally and externally.

● Ability to travel to all European Global Production facilities and/or other locations..

What Makes You Unique

● Master Degree in EHS field of study.

● Experience with GHG (Greenhouse Gas Emission) inventory preparation and management.

● Multilingual (French)
