Our client in the public sector are seeking a Data Manager to develop and implement strategic business applications and data management solutions that align with the their 5-year corporate plan and digital strategy.


The Role:

  • Managing, supporting and training users on their applications, including MS Dynamics 365 CRM, MS SharePoint Online, and custom-built platforms.
  • Work with Information Management to optimize application usage and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the IT helpdesk to provide efficient and responsive support and ensure applications remain fit for purpose.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of key Commission applications, including SharePoint Online and CRM.
  • Ensure their security, integration, and continuous development. Support migrations to hybrid/cloud models.
  • Lead business intelligence and data visualization initiatives.
  • Provide responsive support to users and collaborate with IT leads on technical proposals. Manage supplier relationships and contribute to digital strategy.


Requirements:

  • Experience of data visualisation technologies and techniques
  • Experience of virtual desktop environments
  • Experience in migrations from on premise to cloud implementations
  • Experience in developing and implementing data management strategies
  • Staff management experience
  • Knowledge of low code/SaaS application support and development
  • Displays a logical and methodical approach to solving technical problems whilst working under pressure
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies
  • Good level of written communication particularly in the production of high quality technical documentation


What's on Offer:

  • Salary in the region of £50 - 55k
  • Hybrid working pattern; 2 days of your choice in central London
