Role Overview: As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in extracting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to support business strategies and decision-making processes. You will leverage your expertise in Python, R, or JavaScript to develop insightful analyses and contribute to the optimization of our data infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Extraction and Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
  • Tool Development: Utilize Python, R, or JavaScript to develop and maintain analytical tools and models.
  • Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing data models and tools, recommending improvements as needed.
  • Data Quality: Ensure data accuracy and consistency through rigorous validation and quality control processes.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analysis to support various business initiatives and projects.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, or JavaScript for data analysis and tool development. Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
