Due to recent project award and significant strategic growth, we are looking to add to our already talented team of Field Service Survey Engineers, to be based in UK and/or Singapore.



Key Result Areas:

Our Field Service Engineers work around the world on Unique Group projects and are a key part of the Team.

They are responsible for keeping our equipment in full working condition on the site that they are assigned to. This includes ensuring Company procedures relating to the testing, maintenance and calibration of Company rental equipment are carried out to the highest standards.


Field Engineers are responsible for mobilising, demobilising, and operating our equipment on vessels in ports around the Globe as and when required. When not in the field, our Engineers support our Operations Teams, maintaining, servicing and preparing equipment for projects.


Job Requirements

Required to work off site undertaking mobilizations on vessels in ports around the Globe as and when required.

Maintaining highest standards of safety, ensuring adherence to Company HSE Policies at all times.

Ensuring all equipment has full test procedures that are regularly revised as and when required.

Following Company procedures relating to the testing, maintenance and calibration of Company rental equipment ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.

Ensuring all test equipment is in satisfactory working order at all times through the calibration and maintenance of said equipment

Updating maintenance and calibration schedules for rental and test equipment.

Updating the status or rental assets, job reports etc. on Company asset tracking system.

Maintaining good housekeeping practices in all areas.

Working closely with vendors ensuring timely arrival of spare parts order / workshop stock.

Communicating effectively with colleagues at all levels to ensure satisfactory information transfer.

Undertaking manufacturer’s training courses as and when required.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

HNC or HND qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.

Previous relevant Survey Engineering experience at a similar level.

Flexible approach to tasks and roles.

Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

As frequent travellers, field engineers are expected to ensure that all passports are valid for 1 year and they have 4 empty pages.


QHSE Responsibilities:

To consistently work to all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards applicable to Unique System and to assist in the development and improvement of such standards.

Comply with Unique Group’s QHSE Management System.

Promote a positive QHSE culture in the workplace.
