Leading financial services company undergoing an Asset Securitization project in Dubai are seeking someone to lead the initiative from an Operations and Technology prepective

Description

• Project Management of Project Secure to complete the deliverables in timelines and within budget

• Act as key point of contact for Operational execution of Project Secure which is 1st of its kind specialized Treasury Project to execute a Securitization facility with a Financial Institution

• Closely involved in working with IT vendor and internal IT team to keep tab of open items and problem solving to execute a complex securitization on IT systems

• Create process mapping, planning and monitoring of how Deem Treasury operations team will manage the Securitization requirements on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis in terms of stringent timelines for cash cycle and reporting metrics.

• Utilize prior experience in conjunction with internal IT team to coordinate in selection and testing of external software for Securitization. Understand the Deem IT architecture and capabilities to onboard a software solution which is compatible and cost efficient for enabling Securitization requirements

• Effectively liaise with external counterparties like Group Finance, Legal Advisors, IT vendor, Financial institutions, Accounting & Audit firm as Securitization transaction requires 360 degree co-ordination and has significant impact on our Treasury Risk framework.

• Project duration to be 6 months to ensure seamless transition into new environment post Securitization transaction and getting 1-2 operational cycles in place to ensure Finance, Operations team have confidence that they can manage the stringent cash flows, reporting and risk management requirements emanating from the transaction

Skills and Experience

• Experience in Securitization related transactions in a Treasury Operations / Back-office environment or Corporate Finance experience with a detailed understanding of operations, data reporting, accounting and systems

• Few years spent in Corporate Finance or Treasury back-office of Bulge bracket bank in Developed Markets (DM) will be strongly preferred for someone who is considering to re-locate to Dubai (Middle-east)

• Competence in Project Management toolkit through tracking software’s and demonstrated history of managing Treasury ops intensive projects to completion

• Communication skills to update key management team members about Treasury Securitization project status as and when required amidst a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, chaotic and ambiguous) environment

• Problem solving Operations, IT, Accounting challenges based on prior experience in Securitization &/or Technical know-how of Accounting / IT systems • Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative, Technical or Financial domain (Master’s degree preferable but not required)

• 5 years experience in Treasury Back-office Operations area of large Balance Sheet with exposure to complex securitization, IT, reporting, operations processes
