The Role and Key Responsibilities


This role will involve helping to manage, train and assist the Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland in house legal team in BCM Global Limited. The legal team provide legal execution, legal elevation, and legal administration services across Real Estate, Litigation and Banking Transactional platforms to Irish entities specialising in NPL/REO portfolios.


⦁ Assisting the Head of Legal in the management of the in-house legal team (2 in house team members in Belfast and 3 in house team members in Dublin).

⦁ Act as an escalation point for secondees for non-standard/complex legal queries and provide direction/ strategic guidance to team members.

⦁ Assist in the drafting of legal conveyancing and other contractual documentation.

⦁ Review of documents to ensure accuracy, consistency and adherence to client policies.

⦁ Being responsible for training and development of new and existing team members.

⦁ Ensuring standards, quality and turnaround times are adhered to.

⦁ Liaising with business stakeholders to identify key legal processes, areas of change and efficiencies; and reporting to Head of Legal.



Experience and Requirements

⦁ A qualified lawyer (min 2 years PQE)

⦁ Experience in conveyancing and transactional to include drafting banking/finance documents (settlements, undertakings, loan portfolio transfers)

⦁ Team management experience (not essential but training can be provided)

⦁ A strong track record in working within or advising on conveyancing and transactional instructions on enforced assets.

⦁ Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and train junior lawyers
