Ideal Candidate:


To succeed in this transition, you should have:


  • Experience: a minimum of 4 years experience working as an architect, project architect or senior architect in a UK-based, design-led practice on large-scale projects over £50 million.
  • Project Management Understanding: Knowledge of/experience in the project/design manager role and the responsibilities of a Lead Consultant.
  • Documentation Skills: Familiarity with project documentation such as design programming and design responsibility matrices.
  • Client Interaction: Experience in developing project briefs and assisting with project stage reports (desirable).
  • Team Leadership: Experience in leading design team meetings, preparing agendas, and managing external consultants.

  • Organisational Skills: Highly organised with a proven ability to manage and meet deadlines.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility across different project typologies.
