The Role
We’re seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth and build strategic partnerships at Joos, a fast-growing power bank scale-up. This role will focus on driving revenue growth, identifying new market opportunities, and expanding our reach across key markets in the UK, Europe, and North America.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute targeted business development plans to achieve company growth objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential partners in sectors such as hospitality, retail, and other strategic markets.
- Drive negotiations for new business partnerships and manage contractual agreements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate market opportunities.
- Assist in developing partnership frameworks and revenue models tailored to different market segments.
- Monitor industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth and market expansion.
- Represent Joos at events and networking opportunities to strengthen the company’s market presence.
- Work towards achieving revenue targets and other performance KPIs.
- Assist with ongoing training and mentoring of future team members, identifying areas of development, and providing support and feedback
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or B2B sales, preferably in hardware, tech, or sustainable energy sectors – other sectors also considered.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and closing partnership deals.
- Commercial acumen with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and other sales prospecting platforms.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel or work outside of normal hours as needed to support business objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships.
