REMOTE WORKING – 3 DAYS/WEEK IN THE OFFICE
Exceptional digital marketing and CRM skills are essential for this new and exciting role with this leading specialist accessories brand, loved by riders and racers from pro to leisure, who need to keep their equipment in top condition and ready to go. With a huge range of lubricants, sprays, apparel, cleaning & maintenance products and equipment, available via specialist retailers and direct-to-consumer - products made by riders, for riders – our client is now expanding rapidly into international markets, building a presence in new territories and sectors.
The Digital Marketing & CRM Manager will be responsible for the ongoing traffic management of digital marketing activities on the brand’s DTC UK, EU and US websites, spanning performance marketing via affiliates, paid social, PPC all SEO activities and existing first-party database growth and trading. You will also be responsible for the development and growth of email automation and segmentation, and will apply your hands-on experience of development advertising creative, working closely with the company’s design and content teams to craft compelling ads at all stages of the marketing funnel.
Reporting directly to the Head of Digital, this new role is pivotal in driving our digital marketing strategies across global markets, focusing on acquisition, retention, and customer relationship management.
- Developing and implementing a consumer-focused CRM strategy to optimize acquisition costs and enhance customer retention globally.
- Creating and executing database-building campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Implementing regional and category segmentation for consumer databases, and deploying compelling automations based on data insights.
- Managing performance marketing agencies, setting targets and analysing performance across paid channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, Microsoft).
- Leading and reporting on global SEO activities, leveraging onsite optimization and PR team collaboration for outreach initiatives.
- Identifying new digital revenue streams, including social commerce, subscriptions, and emerging platforms like TikTok Shop.
- Overseeing digital ad creative strategy from top-of-funnel YouTube campaigns to META retargeting, collaborating closely with design and content teams.
- Driving a community-loyalty program, fostering user-generated content and integrating it into outreach campaigns.
- Developing comprehensive reporting using GA and Shopify reports, providing actionable insights.
- Leading experiments to enhance knowledge through data, optimizing email marketing, PPC ad copy, and social media content.
What We’re Looking For
- A seasoned digital leader with extensive experience in digital marketing acquisition and CRM strategy.
- Ability to drive the digital agenda across cross-functional teams including design, content, marketing, and sales.
- Proficiency with tools such as Shopify, Klaviyo, Dot Digital, and Google marketing tools.
- University degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in product and service launches, team scaling, and D2C marketing.
- Strong expertise in SEO, PPC, UGC, and CRM strategies.
- Proven track record in on-site SEO strategy development and success measurement.
- Deep understanding of Google Ads, Merchant Center, and GA4.
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in content reporting, KPI measurement, and CRO recommendations.
- A/B testing experience and knowledge of the marketing funnel and ad creative design.
Desirable
- Experience in digital marketing attribution and platforms like Dot Digital, Klaviyo, or similar.
- Passion for cycling or powersports.
- Extensive SEO knowledge (on-site and off-site).
- Familiarity with Yotpo rewards.
