The Role – Personal KPI’s and generous bonus to be based on exceeding store conversion targets

As the Global Retail Training Manager at Kurt Geiger, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of training programs that enhance the skills and competencies of our retail teams worldwide. Your role is pivotal in driving the store performance, increasing conversion rates and ensuring an elevated shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Review and define key competencies required for the retail teams to excel in their roles
  • Develop a comprehensive, elevated service plan for stores, inclusive of optimising staff schedules based on performance metrics
  • Assess current employee training metrics and identify development opportunities to foster a more driven workforce
  • Create a robust training programme to suit DTC and luxury business models aimed at increasing conversion
  • Design, deliver and monitor engaging training programmes across multiple platforms including video, social, text, group and individual coaching
  • Monitor the impact of training programmes on store performance through conversion metrics and interpret data to provide insights to senior stakeholders
  • Recommend and implement in-store changes, while working collaboratively with internal teams to enhance the overall shopping experience
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive clienteling practices to build stronger, lasting customer relationships
  • Create and oversee the training compliance process to ensure all staff adhere to set standards and flag concerns
  • Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with store management to assess employee engagement and address challenges
  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through detailed metrics, as well as staff and customer feedback
  • Collaborate with HR and management to ensure training programmes align with the company's strategic goals and operational needs
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.


Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in training and development within the retail or a similar industry is essential
  • Proven track record of implementation of change and result
  • Ability to adapt to changes based on metrics and performance feedback.
  • Confident in challenging the status quo to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • Confidence in public speaking and presenting to large groups.
  • Self-starter with a high level of motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Capability to travel nationally and internationally as required.
  • Proven experience in creating data-driven training strategies and interpreting complex data sets.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
