Global Supply Chain & Strategy (GSC&S) creates and enhances agile, connected, and sustainable supply chains that place pioneering science into the hands of patients, using the latest technologies. Your New Role
In this role, you will work partner with a wide range of colleagues from across Global Supply Chain, Operations and IT to establish and mobilise a Risk Sensing Programme. You will develop a project charter and establish clear project milestones across several workstreams.
These activities include the delivery of an RFP and aligning stakeholders on a preferred technology vendor. Further milestones include implementation of a new external risk management software, the standardization of internal processes, and the creation of a new operating model centred around a CoE (centre of excellence) resources. You will coordinate the activities of the team to achieve targets, while managing stakeholders and communications.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong project management experience – supply chain advantageous + Risk Sensing experience
- Demonstrable project management skills in a global, matrixed organization
- Understanding macro-level risk and sub-tier visibility
- Experience of change management plan and developing suitable approaches to address.
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Strong communication, collaboration and relationship building skills, with the ability to influence others to senior levels to achieve shared objectives.
- Ability to present / build presentations to leadership level audiences
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with ability to advise and engage teams to achieve strategic objectives.
- Experience of working in global organisation where partners and project teams are culturally and geographically dispersed.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Familiarity with supply chain management processes.
- Formal qualifications in change and/or project management.
- Familiarity with Agile & Waterfall methodology delivery.
- Familiarity with risk management concepts is a plus.
