We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified FP&A Manager to join a PLC listed company based in Feltham. Excellent business partnering skills are essential with full ownership of the FP&A processes including financial analysis, forecasting and financial modelling along with budget and forecast production. This requires an immediate start, for approximately 6 x months, offering a hybrid working pattern and competitive day rate.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the annual budget and forecast processes (including the 3-year plan), ensuring the integrity and consistency of submitted data to facilitate robust challenges.
  • Owning the delivery of entirely accurate, consistent, and reliable budget and forecast templates to the broader finance team.
  • Working with finance teams and reporting teams to develop an impactful and insightful monthly performance report, supporting the focus on key performance issues.
  • Working with central budget holders in formulating cost plans using excel based models.
  • Review existing FP&A processes and structures to drive standardisation across the teams and ensure structures remain relevant to the group.
  • Work with HR to control headcount and position management across the group. Establishing common standards for reporting and forecasting and aligning HR and Finance Data.
  • Providing financial modelling, business papers and sensitivity analysis to support business decisions and understanding as necessary.
  • Review Consolidation tools and systems to ensure best practices across the group.
  • Supplying advice, insight, commentary and challenge on commercial performance, investment returns, integrity of forecasts.
  • Providing financial support and insight as required by the CFO and Director of Group Finance.
  • Support year end processes that require financial forecasts e.g impairment reviews and going concern evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Have 3+ years' experience of leading a large and complex (ideally listed) group's FP&A responsibilities
  • Experience of the following is essential:
  • Budget and forecast production
  • Financial modelling
  • Use of advanced excel skills
  • Experience of Essbase and Oracle Data Integrator would be beneficial
  • Ability to present financial information clearly and concisely
  • Attention to detail and ensure accuracy even under pressure
  • Proven interpersonal, influencing and team working skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Deadline driven, enjoys working in a fast paced environment and combines prioritisation with flexibility to deliver on promises
  • Highly motivated and proactive and enjoys working in a team and taking full advantage and accountability for delivering results
