We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Bid Manager to join our client's team. As a Bid Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification to submission, for a variety of construction projects across different sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction bidding and a proven track record of winning bids in both public and private sectors.


We are considering Project and Design Managers who have an exemplary track record of bidding and winning schemes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the bid process for construction projects, from initial opportunity assessment to final submission
  • Coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to develop competitive bid proposals
  • Conducting thorough market research and analysis to identify upcoming opportunities and assess competition
  • Collaborating with Estimators, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure bid strategies align with project objectives
  • Managing the preparation of high-quality bid documents, including technical proposals, pricing schedules, and compliance documents
  • Presenting bids to senior management and participating in bid review meetings
  • Monitoring bid outcomes and analyzing feedback to continuously improve the bidding process


Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of construction bidding processes, regulations, and best practices
  • Strong Pre-con experience
  • Proven track record winning education, leisure, life sciences, commercial office and higher education schemes
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in bid management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
