As a Reservations Agent we will support you to:

Reporting to the Reservations Manager you will be expected to:

  • Anticipate and understand guests requests, providing accurate information on hotel services, selling and upselling hotel rates/packages and identifying future selling opportunities
  • Handle all phone calls and email enquiries in a highly professional manner
  • Assist our guests in a courteous and efficient manner with their reservation requests, changes and cancellations
  • Maximise sales and room occupancy
  • be an excellent communicator with a high standard of written and spoken English
  • The first point of contact, your goal is to provide an exceptional first impression on the phone

You are an ambassador of The Company, and it is your role to live and help further establish the values of the Kimpton Brand by reflecting the image of The Company. At Kimpton Fitzroy we want our guests to feel special. You need to be charming and approachable. You need to stay in the moment by understanding and anticipating guests needs, being attentive and taking ownership of getting things done and you must make it memorable by being knowledgeable, sharing stories and showing your style to create moments that make people feel special.

Given the nature of this role its important that you have previous Reservations / Front Office experience gained within a Four- or Five-Star Hotel Experience (not necessarily in reservations) You must pride yourself on your high levels of attention to detail and delivering our brand standards.
