Job Title: Senior Commercial Manager UK&I


Role Overview: This is an exciting opportunity to build, develop and lead a national sales team while crafting our commercial strategies and tactics with key business partners, such as distributors, DSO/groups KOL/education providers. This role offers immense opportunities to harness autonomy, mastery, and purpose to drive new commercial models and rapidly grow the DMG UK&I business. You should already be a dental commercial expert, with experience in building business through industry collaboration and leading a motivated sales team. Time spent in person with customers/partners alongside your sales team is critical to the role. The Senior Commercial Manager is expected to be in the field two to three days each week, working with their sales team at customers, including dental practices, dental labs, distributors, DSO/groups, education partners, and KOLs. This is a hugely varied and rewarding role with the scope to create something truly powerful in the UK&I dental market. The role reports directly to the UK&I Managing Director and involves close relations with fellow leaders in the UK and German HQ business teams.


Location: Remote, with national travel expected 2-3 days per week. Ideally located within driving distance to Warrington, UK&I HQ.


Position Type: Full-time, five days a week with occasional weekend work (dental shows/education courses). Time off in lieu will apply to any days worked over the weekend.


In this role, you will:

  • Be a DMG Ambassador: Lead with integrity and professionalism in every interaction. We only do business the right way.
  • Challenge the Status Quo: Think differently and try new things to drive innovation.
  • Create and Implement Strategies and Tactics: Manage the sales team, including sales plans and commission structures. Coach and develop direct reports to implement strategic goals and tactics.
  • Manage Key Accounts: Distributors, DSO/groups, strategic lab partners, KOLs, and partner education providers. Develop and nurture effective relationships with our largest customers to drive growth and further portfolio adoption.
  • Build and Execute Plans: Utilise the sales process alongside CRM to ensure a fit-for-purpose funnel and pipeline sales strategy to consistently exceed sales targets.
  • Commercial Offers/Promotions: Work with the MD and marketing manager to create commercial offers to ignite sales through distribution partners and manage KPIs to demonstrate ROI.
  • Achieve KPIs: Deliver individual KPIs and those of the national sales teams.
  • Stay Informed & networked: Provide continuous updates and insights on industry developments, including competitor intelligence.
  • Support Events: Represent DMG at exhibitions, events, and PR initiatives to drive business goals.

You must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant sales/commercial experience.
  • 5+ years of UK dental sales experience.
  • High proficiency in multitasking, managing multiple focus areas and projects simultaneously.
  • Business & Marketing knowledge: Working knowledge of business measures such as Cash Flow Analysis, ROI, and P&L.
  • Experience in sales commission plans and activity management utilising CRM data.
  • Data analytic skills required to work with POS and POP data sets from DSO partner groups and distributors. Analytical skills and attention to detail required.
  • Excellent communication skills: Facilitate in front of various audience sizes, both face-to-face and remotely.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
