Business Development Director

A global logistics and supply chain solutions provider that specializes in end-to-end logistics solutions tailored to complex and sensitive operations. The company is port-centric, with a turnover of £30b with excellent service offerings in pharma, healthcare, chemicals, automotive, and renewable energy.
Role
The ideal candidate will be a senior strategic business development manager with experience in the SME marketplace with a focus in a specialist verticals preferred.
Ocean and air freight experience required. Trade lanes: North Atlantic, Europe, Turkey Middle East, and Indian Subcontinent.
Compensation
Base Salary: £70K - £85K
Commission: Competitive sales incentive based on GP
Company car or car allowance
Qualifications
- Demonstrated track record of driving sustained growth and the ability to build and manage a robust sales pipeline through strategic, targeted planning.
- Experience in creating compelling value propositions and skillfully influencing and negotiating at senior levels.
- Expertise in the end-to-end logistics sector with the ability to understand and ensure the solutions you’re selling will meet customers’ needs, are commercially viable, and align with the companies business values.
