Our client is a leading North West-based financial wellbeing and retirement specialist, working with hundreds of businesses across the U.K.'s private and public sector by offering their staff financial education, guidance and regulated financial advice. As our client's company continues to grow and flourish, a requirement has arisen for a Sales Development Manager. The position is home-based.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Client Development, the Sales Development Manager will be responsible for delivering new profitable corporate clients to the business in order to achieve income targets specifically in the financial wellbeing and retirement sectors. The role's key duties include:
- Deliver new business sales targets
- Develop and manage the new business contact plan to support the delivery of sales targets activities
- Manage the follow up of all financial wellbeing and retirement related new business leads to arrange initial and follow up appointments
- Manage all follow up activity from financial wellbeing and retirement related events
- Be the lead presence at external events, including speaking at conferences, presenting to professional groups and trade bodies
- Research and draft client business proposals
- Take the lead in any response to tender applications to secure shortlisting
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants for the Sales Development Manager vacancy must have the following criteria:
- Strong background in Employee Benefit Sales within Financial Services
- Strong background in developing New Business
- Experience in team management plus developing and training staff
- Possess knowledge of UK pension (DB & DC ) UK share schemes & flex benefit offerings
REMUNERATION / PACKAGE
- Up to £80,000 (depending on experience)
- Lucrative bonus scheme
- 25 days’ Annual Leave
- Pension (6% employer/3% employee)
