We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our business. As a key member of the business, you will play a vital role in supporting our business by enhancing, maintaining, and streamlining our IT Infrastructure. Role description

This is a full-time hybrid (onsite & remote) role for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer. The Infrastructure Engineer will be the senior point of contact and advisor for managers and employees on all IT related topics including client devices, datacentre, cloud & office infrastructure. Providing Incident Response, Changes, and Project-Based Work, as well as guidance to L2 engineer.


Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Installing and maintaining the companies operating environments
  • Monitoring the companies operating environments
  • Maintaining a professional demeanour with internal colleagues and external clients
  • Providing training and support
  • Ensuring the companies operating environments are safe and secure
  • Updating any software and hardware where necessary
  • Documenting all reported malfunctions and actions taken in response


Experience and skills needed:

  • Ability to support, design and implement infrastructure technologies and solutions such as: computing, storage, networking, cloud computing, including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
  • Experience in maintaining the security, confidentiality, and integrity of information systems
  • Enthusiasm for applying modern standards approaches throughout automation and testing
  • Willing to take ownership of problems and proactively resolve technical problems, ensuring that technical solutions continue to meet the business requirements
  • Experience in identifying, analysing, and understanding problems, to help identify the appropriate solution
  • Experience in documentation which includes processes, cases, and correct remedies
  • Experience in creating the specification and the design of systems to meet the defined business needs
  • Strong experience in integration and test components, systems, and their interfaces to create operational services
  • Ability to think laterally to dissect a problem into its component parts to identify and diagnose root causes, allowing problem resolution. Able to troubleshoot and identify problems across different technology capabilities including computing, storage, networking, physical infrastructure, software, COTS and open-source packages and solutions, and virtual and cloud computing, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
  • Practical experience using a range of Operating Systems and Network/Security Equipment
  • Excellent communication skills to deal with both internal & external stakeholders
  • Microsoft Azure

  • Ability to work with a range of Operating Systems and Network/Security Equipment
