Following the success of recent domestic projects, we now wish to invest-in and expand our commercial solar PV solutions. Therefore, we’re looking for an experienced Commercial Solar PV Senior Project Manager. We want you to work with us on this exciting opportunity to develop sector leading Commercial Solar PV Solutions.

Project opportunities will be delivered to you by the Commercial Director and Sales Team. Then, we’d like you to:-

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Lead the planning and execution of solar projects

Provide project status updates to Commercial Director

TECHNICAL AND SHE (Safety, Health, Environmental)

Conduct site assessments and analyse data to determine the feasibility of solar installation

Utilise design software to create accurate and optimal pv array

Produce detailed design documentation, including layout plans, system specifications, and energy yield predictions

Must have technical knowledge of large-scale Solar and Battery Storage design and installation methods to support processes during installation. Sound understanding and demonstratable SHE (Safety, Health, Environmental) delivery.

TEAM

Collaborate with the Commercial Director, Operations Manager, and Sales Team to understand customer requirements and project details.

Provide technical support to the sales team and address customer inquiries regarding solar design and performance.

Supervise and mentor a team of solar technicians, engineers, and other project staff.

EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in design software and tools (experience with solar design software is a plus).

Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills

Project Management experience, in particular the delivery of large-scale rooftop Solar PV installations

SMSTS qualification preferred, SSSTS minimum.

Willing to travel/possible overnight stays

Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
