We are seeking candidates with experience within a Private Equity environment that are eager to join a successful business where they can gain experience, grow with the company and grab new opportunities.



Key Responsibilities


  • Take over day to day management of wider finance team as no.2 with a number of direct reports.
  • Coordinate, own & evolve the financial reporting cycles including monthly reporting & forward forecasting in particular - understand the PE reporting requirements around dashboards, run rates, forecasts etc
  • Coordinate & own Cashflow forecasting in particular & oversee the workstreams/inputs to deliver accurate forecasting weekly & monthly.
  • Demonstrably operationally excellent in context of how a finance function should be working & its use of respective software.
  • Support CFO on various ad-hoc projects
  • Attend meetings on behalf of finance team & brief/coordinate the wider team on their actions required etc
  • Continuous improvement attitude to achieve a best-in-class finance function & able to demonstrate a roadmap & a plan to get there



Qualifications


  • Qualified accountant with a solid technical understanding of accounting principles and practices. Ideally Big 4 trained (ACA).
  • Experience within a PE environment is desirable, preferably within a consumer focussed industry sector.
  • PE exit experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management.
  • Track record of process improvement and implementing effective financial controls.
