Our client, a leading London architecture practice, are looking for an experienced Document Controller to join their team on a temporary basis. You will work with a team of hardworking and talented designers and alongside another Document Controller on a range of projects.


They are looking for someone to start ASAP, for around 6-8 weeks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining, filing and organisation of project documents (both electronic and/or hardcopies)
  • Manage the flow of documentation within the studio
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement
  • Liaising with and distributing project-related information with the project team and external parties
  • Reviewing documents and making revisions for accuracy as required
  • Quality & compliance checks on documents
  • Liaising with project team members to ensure documents meet requirements
  • Creating document templates
  • Retrieve files as requested
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed
  • Administer requests for information
  • Carry out other relevant duties as required


Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven work experience as a Document Controller
  • Knowledge of Aconex, 4Projects and ASite.
  • Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • Attention to detail / Ability to spot errors
  • Filing and organisation skills for document storage
  • Typing accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
