Building Safety Manager

Carbon60 are looking for a Registered Building Safety Manager to work for a large housing company in Bristol. This is on a contract basis for 3 months initially but is likely to be extended or go longer.
Location: Bristol
Pay Rate: £277.00 Per Day PAYE
Contract: Temporary Ongoing – 3 Months initially
The Role:
- To take responsibility for the co-ordination and management of all matters relating to structural and fire safety to ensure buildings meet legislative requirements.
- To oversee the safe management of High-Rise and higher risk residential buildings.
- To oversee the implementation of controls in respect of structural and fire safety on a day-to-day basis.
- To effectively manage safety within the designated housing portfolio.
- To ensure controls are implemented in respect to building work carried out.
- To oversee the successful implementation of corrective actions arising from fire risk assessments and audits.
The successful candidate:
- Registered Building Safety Manager (Desirable)
- IOSH or IFE (Desirable)
- Experience in a similar role.
- Experience with high rise buildings.
