At Safran Seats, we are unique within aerospace, as we interface with both the world's biggest airlines and airframers alike, with the largest seats portfolio of all seats suppliers. One day you could be liaising with one of the world's largest airframers, and the next, some of the biggest airline brands around the worldIn the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales.
Our in-house design studio co-creates the most innovative experiences in the sky with our airline customers and partners. Our dedicated engineering, production and in-service support facilities are integral to delivering a high-end quality product that we keep flying throughout the life of programme. We are fully supported by a wide team of support functions, from HR to Finance, to Business Development and Planning and Logistics, our team is built to give Safran Seats an end-to-end capability in house in the UK.
Description
- Your key responsibility is to assist program managers with the operational management of their organization to help them meet their objectives.- Your role is to help managers achieve their commitments regarding delivery (deliverables, milestones), non-recurring and recurring costs (NRC and RC), Earned Value Management (EVM), and quality- You must be proficient in the use and configuration of management tools, and in overseeing their use by people involved in the process- You are expected to address and report any irregularities with regard to the program and project management reference system- You are also expected to make recommendations to ensure continuous process improvement and the deployment of best practices- You do not have any decision-making authority regarding programs, projects or business lines and you cannot stand in for managers.- In other words, management, planning, resource allocation, communication of leadtimes, financial data, risks and opportunities remain the sole responsibility of managers
