About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager to join our team in Chinoiserie at Jumeirah Carlton Tower.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Oversee daily operation of the department for smooth service.
  • Supervise and manage staff, including scheduling and training.
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences by addressing issues promptly.
  • Maintain quality standards for food, beverages, and service.
  • Manage inventory and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Assist in budget management and financial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Support event planning and execution.
  • Prepare reports on operations and performance.
  • Identify and implement improvements in service and operations.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory and quality control.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with experience in staff supervision, training, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to address guest concerns and collaborate with team members.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management and cost control.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, and experience in ensuring compliance.
