About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager to join our team in Chinoiserie at Jumeirah Carlton Tower.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Oversee daily operation of the department for smooth service.
- Supervise and manage staff, including scheduling and training.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by addressing issues promptly.
- Maintain quality standards for food, beverages, and service.
- Manage inventory and coordinate with suppliers.
- Assist in budget management and financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Support event planning and execution.
- Prepare reports on operations and performance.
- Identify and implement improvements in service and operations.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory and quality control.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with experience in staff supervision, training, and performance management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to address guest concerns and collaborate with team members.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management and cost control.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, and experience in ensuring compliance.
