Job Title: Production Planning & Control Professional – Material Management

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. This is an on site position

Salary: Competitive

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will maintain the schedule for each area/bay and use the scheduling software & metrics to aid decisions in the 1–16-week window
  • Be responsible for the prioritisation of the work schedule for Material demands through liaising with stakeholders and customers and to fill last minute emergent demand
  • Ensure that all scheduled work is level loaded to capacity, across bays and trades
  • Complete the Task Allocation request process to ensure that material is moved into the bay by raising requests
  • Be responsible for the communication of schedule to Materials and Operations department
  • Attend IPT meetings to confirm schedule within the business Communicate a schedule tasking list to Materials & Logistics weekly

Your skills and experiences:

  • Previous stakeholder management experience
  • Experience within: Project/Controls environment or Materials/Operational environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Packages – Skills in Excel (Experience working with KPI’s & reporting)

This opportunity is varied and interesting due to the closeness and proximity of the product and the continued interaction with all key stakeholders. It gives an insight into all functions and how they interact with one another. You will be responsible to run, drive and help deliver our company and business milestones.
