The Impact You'll Make
As a Maintenance Technician, reporting to the Engineering Manager and supported by the Supervisor, your role is vital in ensuring our hotel facilities and equipment are in top shape for both guests and colleagues. You'll understand how your work impacts the overall guest experience and will collaborate with a skilled team to respond to a range of repair requests and preventative maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, and general building upkeep. Your attention to detail will help us meet our guests' needs while adhering to all health and safety protocols.

What You'll Do
- Address and resolve repair or maintenance issues throughout the hotel as they arise.
- Respond promptly to guest repair requests.
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and kitchen/mechanical room equipment.
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with departments across the hotel.
- Report new or developing engineering needs to the Engineering Manager.
- Maintain the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and more.
- Assist with inventory organization and ordering.
- Work on a rotating schedule of 5 days over 7.
- Participate in 'on-call' shifts as part of a rotation.
- Respond promptly to on-call requests during designated weeks.

- Prior experience as an engineer in a hotel setting.
- Familiarity with hardware tools and electrical equipment.
- Previous experience in engineering or maintenance within a hotel is preferred.
