We are CH&CO, we’re proud to take a more thoughtful, mindful approach to the food experiences we source, prepare and present. We are recruiting for a Senior Finance Business Partner to work with us. This position will be based 2-3 days in our London office and 1-2 days from home. We are looking for someone who can continue process, system, and team improvements in order to deliver accurate and timely management accounts and MI. We are looking for someone who can develop and mentor the Finance Business Partner to support the business requirements and business partnering with the Operational teams to maximise contract and business profitability.


The senior finance business partner role is pivotal in supporting the business. In working closely with the operational teams and being a part of the day to day running of the business. The senior finance business partner will play a key role in ensuring delivery of accurate monthly results, ensuring they reflect the current performance of the business and driving initiatives as required. The senior finance business partner will also be fully engaged in compiling budgets and forecasts as well as ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions, business cases and bid development – ensuring we understand how internal and external influences will impact the business and making the best decisions for CH&Co as a whole.


Key responsibilities

• Ensuring timely and accurate completion of monthly management accounts ensuring accuracy, integrity, consistency and providing clear visibility of the financial health of the business

• Accurate accounting on income, including accrued and deferred revenue on a monthly basis, with clear visibility and communication to the business on non-current debt

• Highlighting and minimising key business risks, by understanding balance sheet position

• Understanding and challenging current business practice, identifying and implementing initiatives to improve process and deliver business growth objectives

• Partnering operations managers to prepare full annual budgets, and periodic forecasts

• Ensure accurate and timely billing, efficient cost control and driving improvements in the working capital

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of the contract catering industry preferred or experience in another relevant industry
  • Good understanding of different contract types
  • • Business Partnering experience (desirable)
  • Management experience
  • Previous experience of forecasting and budgeting
  • 1+ year in a relevant role within contract catering or other relevant industry
  • Advanced excel skills
