Salary: £60,000 + up to 12% annual comms

Hours: 09:00hrs - 17:00hrs (this company also operates a 4.5-day working week)

Start: Immediate (willing to wait for notice period)

Contract: Permanent / Full-Time - (Remote)

Culture Guru is recruiting a Client Director to be part of a female-led people consultancy specialising in Organisational Development & Talent Management.



The driven and motivated Client Director will be responsible for Business Development, Client Relationship Management, and Client Delivery on external people projects such as people strategy, coaching, change and transformation, and more.



Responsibilities of the role but not limited to;


Business Development

  • Identify, source, cultivate, and nurture new business opportunities by building and maintaining relationships and networks, both personal and within the broader company network.
  • Conduct bi-monthly forecasts of business opportunities, establishing concrete strategies to secure new business.
  • Monitor the profitability of your/our client portfolio, actively advancing referrals, managing inbound leads, and driving revenue growth.
  • Lead the creation of proposals, including content development, budgeting, pitches, and presentations.
  • Oversee the marketing and promotion strategy, managing daily interactions with our external marketing partner and spearheading campaigns and social media efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with our Founder, Sales and Operations Director, and internal consultants to generate and capitalize on sales opportunities.
  • Utilize your insights, knowledge, and expertise to develop propositions in response to specific client needs or broader market demands.
  • Take a proactive role in business development, identifying market entry strategies such as events and exhibitions, and crafting compelling business cases for your recommendations.


Client Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and maintain enduring relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients spanning various industries.
  • Establish a bold and strategic plan for client relationship development and activity, then execute it effectively.
  • Provide clients with valuable insights, expertise, constructive challenges, and sound personal judgment grounded in knowledge and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader team to ensure that all contractual obligations are met on both sides and maintain oversight of the quality of all deliverables provided to clients.
  • Oversee a portfolio of around 20 active clients, with opportunities to expand by generating new leads through personal and marketing efforts.


Client Delivery

  • Ensure that all solutions provided offer measurable and meaningful value to clients.
  • Lead negotiations to secure contracts that are commercially beneficial for both the client and the company
  • Develop and present high-quality, innovative, and commercially viable business proposals.
  • Supervise all aspects of delivery, including support materials and activities, to ensure they meet commercial requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for client issues.
  • When appropriate, take a leadership role in personally delivering learning, coaching, and facilitation interventions.
  • Excel in at least two core areas of our solutions while maintaining a broad understanding of other offerings.
  • Lead post-program evaluations, ensuring tangible outcomes are documented and leveraged to generate future revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to analyze projects and ensure their success.

  • Proven experience in collaborative work—you thrive on winning through partnerships and show respect for others.
  • Strong commercial acumen and organizational savvy.
  • Experience in working within small, agile teams and organizations.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and creative, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of working at a fast pace, and responsive to customer needs.
