Job Summary


The Interior Architect Manager manages freelancers and 3rd party design teams, overseeing the design and execution of projects from concept through completion. This role requires a blend of creative vision and practical project management skills to ensure high-quality designs can be delivered efficiently. The manager will collaborate with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality interior solutions that align with client needs and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Project Management:

● Oversee multiple interior design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

● Schedule project timelines, milestones, and deliverables in coordination with other departments and external stakeholders.

● Manage the procurement of materials and furnishings, ensuring specifications and quality standards are met.


2. Design Leadership:

● Drive the creative process, encouraging innovative design solutions and upholding design integrity across all projects.

● Support the client in making informed decisions regarding layout, spatial planning, material selection, colour schemes, and lighting design; utilising the expert input from freelancers and 3rd party consultants.

● Review and approve final design presentations, construction documents, and specifications, to be presented to the Lead Construction Architect for sign-off.


3. Client Interaction:

● Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their vision, needs, and constraints.

● Set and communicate deadlines with clients for decisions and manage client expectations.

● Present design concepts and proposals, effectively communicating design intent and solutions.

● Coordinate feedback on design elements between client, Construction Team and 3rd parties, to drive solutions within agreed set deadlines.


4. Quality Control:

● Ensure all project work meets internal quality standards and complies with all relevant regulations and codes.

● Conduct regular site visits to monitor the implementation of designs and ensure adherence to plans.

● Resolve any design issues that arise during project execution promptly and effectively.
