Network Security Engineer Role


New permanent opportunity for a Network Security Engineer to join a Global IT Consultancy based in London.


Please note: This position is hybrid and requires candidates that can visit the central head office in London.


Network Security Engineer Responsibilities

  • Installing and configuring network devices
  • Troubleshooting issues and supporting end users on any network infrastructure topics.
  • Documenting network configurations
  • Setting up routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment


Network Security Engineer Required Experience

  • 4-5 years’ experience in network engineering, ideally working at IT Consultancies or Telecoms companies
  • Good experience in firewall deployment and administration, ideally with Palo Alto and or Checkpoint specifically
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Routing and Switching (CCNP preferred)
  • Network monitoring (SolarWinds)


Network Security Engineer Application Process

This is a permanent requirement with a start date ASAP; CV's are currently being considered and interviews are taking place across November. The interview process will be 2 stages and candidates will need to be available in no more than 4 weeks in order to be considered.
