Key responsibilities include:

- Collaborating closely with the team, overseeing data flow and serving as the main contact for data management matters.

- Defining and planning projects, focusing on data management.

- Developing innovative methodologies for storing information and datasets to support hypothesis generation.

- Ensuring datasets are appropriately annotated and accessible in a FAIR-compliant manner.

- Producing end-user documentation and providing training on data management processes.

- Supporting the implementation of operational procedures and troubleshooting technical issues.

- Advising informatics staff and contributing to manuscript preparation and grant proposals.


Requirements:

- Masters degree in Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, or related computational field.

- Extensive experience managing diverse biomedical data types.

- Proficiency in Python or R, relational databases, SQL, and web application development.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to train junior team members and stay updated on industry developments.

- Knowledge of biology and computational biology in an immunological context.

- Experience in visualisation solutions for data science problems and grant proposal contributions.

Fixed term contract until 30 September 2027 - 3 days a week onsite minimum
