High speed connectivity is often taken for granted in many parts of the world, but large parts of the global population have limited or no access at all. My client was founded with a view to bridge that gap in communication. Bringing people together through our pioneering technology. They have developed a high-altitude platform and communication system, that brings ubiquitous, high bandwidth, low latency connectivity at a fraction of the cost of traditional terrestrial solutions.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Contribute to antenna test and integration strategy, architectures, solutions and processes to support commercial network deployment and operations
  • Drive and leverage existing and new industry collaborations with technology, partners, operators and industry forums for product integration, network services, solutions, support and testing
  • Manage and lead ongoing communication with supplier/partner organisations in development, test, integration and deployment of antenna
  • Contribute to Stratomast communication solution, analysing telco requirements, supporting integration with Telco systems.
  • Develop Telco solution strategy – strategy for initial system role out and future roadmap
  • Working with antenna suppliers develop/lead product ionisation of the array and develop MM wave hardware
  • Transition the current development antenna to a design-for-production standard with a suitably qualified supplier.


Required Experience:


  • 10+ years of solid experience in mobile operator/telecoms / Radio supplier environment in 4G/5G Radio Access Networks
  • Quantifiable experience of strategy, engineering, operations within mobile telecoms industry
  • Experience in and understanding of complex system integration, test and process management in an operational environment
  • Technical expertise in Mobile Access Technologies and Standards incl. 2G/3G/4G/5G
  • Experience in O-RAN systems
  • RF knowledge, including antennas.
  • Capable of modelling telco solutions, including RF solutions
