Senior Broker - North American Property (Canadian Risks)


Salary - Attractive & Open, with no maximum on their budget, to be competitive and above your current + bonuses and benefits


An established, reputable and successful Lloyd's Broker, who are prided for looking after their employees, resulting in an exceptional staff retention level, now have an exciting position within their North American Property Division. This is a newly created position, due to the significant increase in Property business emanating from Canada.


The Role


  • Placing North American Property Risks into Binding Authorities, as well as the London Market Insurance
  • Building and maintaining relationships with markets, clients and underwriters
  • Working closely with Technician's to assist with market documentation to ensure the smooth placement of risks
  • Negotiating terms with Underwriters
  • Maintaining relationships relationships with Retail Broker clients as well as providing a first-class service
  • Providing expert advise to clients on Property insurance solutions
  • Working collaboratively with the team and providing assistance where necessary


About You


  • 8 years + of experience as a Lloyd's Broker
  • Experienced in placing Canadian Property Risks into Binding Authorities and/or Open Market
  • Strong market and client facing skills
  • Solid communication, relationship building and negotiation skills
