My client is seeking a talented Software Test Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our mobile apps and embedded software for our innovative measurement products.
As part of their strong research and development team, which includes experts in electronics hardware, embedded software, and mobile apps, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our products. Your work will involve manual and product testing, as well as testing backend services (unit testing) and any future expansion of our testing process into the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual testing on mobile apps, including feature, regression, and stress testing.
  • Create and execute automated unit tests on code and APIs.
  • Conduct testing and verification on embedded code.
  • Support the development of test strategies and methodologies.
  • Document results and collaborate with developers to resolve issues and identify root causes.
Essential Skills:
  • 1-6 years of experience as a Software Test Engineer.
  • Proven experience in developing test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
  • Experience running tests for functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the engineering team.
  • Familiarity with test case management systems, such as TestRail.
  • Experience with defect management.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with unit testing.
  • Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android).
  • Testing embedded software in products.
  • Experience testing REST APIs.
  • Ability to generate documentation for both internal and external use.
  • Experience with automation testing tools, such as Appium.
