A well-established mid-market law firm, is seeking a Construction Lawyer to join their team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled legal professional to advance their career within a thriving practice.


Position Overview

You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional legal services to the firm's diverse client base, which includes multinationals, public and private companies, partnerships, public sector organisations, and private clients. You will work under the supervision of a partner, managing the day-to-day running of matters and ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal advice.


Responsibilities

- Provide a high level of client service, building strong relationships

- Carry out work efficiently and to a high professional standard

- Assist in the supervision and development of trainee solicitors

- Undertake continuous professional development to stay current with legal changes

- Record and monitor time spent on matters, ensuring prompt billing

- Actively contribute to business development and marketing initiatives

- Attend networking events and engage in other business development activities


Requirements

- Demonstrable competence in contentious and non-contentious construction law

- Ability to provide prompt, competent advice within budget

- Commitment to delivering excellent client service at the highest level

- Willingness to assist in all matters, including billing and business development

- Strong interest in business development and marketing initiatives

- Enthusiastic team player with a collaborative approach
