Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Sustainability Manager to lead environmental and social responsibility initiatives. In this role, you will develop, implement, and monitor strategies that align with sustainability goals, ensuring compliance with regulations and driving positive change within the organisation and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Sustainability Strategies: Create and oversee initiatives that reduce environmental impact and support corporate social responsibility goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to integrate sustainable practices into operations and supply chains.
  • Policy and Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards, and contribute to the development of company policies.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Measure and analyse sustainability metrics, preparing reports for stakeholders and recommending improvements.
  • Employee Education: Promote sustainability awareness and train teams on best practices and initiatives.
  • Community Impact: Represent the company in community outreach and sustainability forums, fostering partnerships and positive engagement.


Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience in sustainability, corporate social responsibility, or environmental management.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP, ESG, or similar).
  • Proven ability to manage projects, analyse data, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field
  • Certification in sustainability or environmental management
  • Experience in managing the function within an industrial, SME environment.
