Location: Chester, Cheshire

Job Type: Part-Time (1 day per week)

Shift Times: Morning - Client Office Based, Afternoon - Remote from Home

Contract Type: Permanent - 1 day per week

Salary: £22,000 for 8 hours

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Corporate Healthcare Physician to work closely within our client's premises in Chester, alongside dedicated HR professionals and management teams.

Value of the Role: As HCA's Corporate Healthcare Physician, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the health and wellness of employees. You will implement HCA's healthcare programs that address physical, mental, and emotional well-being needs. This role is crucial in promoting and maintaining a healthy workforce, which directly contributes to the productivity and overall success of the client's business. By proactively addressing and managing health risks, you will help reduce absenteeism, improve employee morale, and foster a culture of well-being within the organisation.

Your expertise as an Occupational Health Physician will provide the client with the tools and knowledge needed to create a safer and more supportive work environment, ultimately leading to enhanced employee performance and satisfaction. You will build valuable trusted relationships and personalised care plans that may lead to return to work or redeployment, offering solutions to meet the needs of the client and their employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medical Care: Provide routine medical care, health screenings, vaccinations, and chronic disease management to employees.
  • Mental Health Support: Offer mental health services, including counselling and stress management programs, to support employees' emotional well-being.
  • Health Education: Encourage conversations on topics such as disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and work-life balance.
  • Employee Support: Provide personalized health consultations and develop individualized care plans for employees.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyse health trends within the company and report on the effectiveness of healthcare programs.

Qualifications:

  • GMC Registration and license to practice in the UK.
  • Occupational Health Diploma.
  • Experience providing occupational health services, either in-house for a corporate organisation or for a provider to the corporate business industry.
  • Excellent IT skills, familiar with telemedicine and electronic data records.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and professional client partnering abilities.
