We are seeking an exceptionalReceptionistto join the Claridges team.

Set in the heart of Mayfair, Claridges is an art deco icon and a byword for understated elegance. Since the 1850s, Claridges has excelled at the finer things in life: glamorous design, inspiring dining, impeccable service. There are many 5-star hotels in London but nowhere quite like Claridges. The hotel is a unique combination of splendour and charm with long-standing connections with royalty that have led to it sometimes being referred to as annexe to Buckingham Palace. Claridges has a famous all-day dining and Afternoon Tea restaurant the Foyer & Reading Room, LEpicerie that offers a culinary theatre of the kitchen, and three bars: Claridges Bar, the intimate Fumoir and effortlessly elegant Painters Room.

Please note that this role requires to covernight shiftson rota basis (22:00pm - 08:00am), approximately each 3 - 4 weeks you will cover 1 - 2 weeks night shifts.

As aReceptionistyou will be responsible for:

  • Creating renowned memorable experiences for all our guests.
  • Checking our guests in and out, escorting them to their rooms and cross-selling the hotels departments. Building rapport with each individual guest, in order to create emotional bonds.
  • As part of your daily tasks you will also be required to take reservations and ensure that all instructions are carried out and processed accordingly.
  • Handling cash and foreign currency exchange.

  • Flexible to worknight shiftson rotating basis
