Your new firm
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, leading, independent firm based in the heart of Manchester who specialise in audit and assurance, corporate services, and tax. With over 100 years of experience, this firm has offices over the UK, with great presence in the northwest, which is constantly growing. In terms of their audit, they service predominantly OMB's and SME's who are non for profit and commercial clients. Within their policies, they aim to provide specialist knowledge and services to their clients, and this has led to a vacancy opening to be an audit semi senior, to join their team and help with clients and your own success.
Your new role
You will be joining a specialist team of audit professionals who you can both learn and develop from to help you achieve upmost success in your new role. Your day-to-day duties will consist of assisting the team on audit assignments for varying clients from OMB's to SME's and more. You will assist in the planning of the audit, offering information to clients whilst working closely with them and identifying new service lines for them. Other responsibilities consist of drafting and completing files for year end financial statements.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need previous experience working within practice, having had experience on all stages of an audit; previous accounts experience would be desired but is not mandatory. You must also be part qualified in your ACCA or ACA professional qualifications; finalists will also be accepted. Other skills required would be good interpersonal skills, that you can demonstrate when meeting clients and maintaining those already existing relationships, or new ones you form. You should also show enthusiasm for the new role and show a willingness to learn.

In return, you will be offered a competitive salary ranging between £27,000 to £30,000 depending on experience.
