Job Description
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Wholesale Manager to oversee and manage our global wholesale operations. The successful candidate will collaborate with regional agents and distributors, manage key events such as the Paris Fashion Week showroom, and drive the growth of Yuzefi’s presence in retail stores worldwide. This role reports directly to the Founder and the Commercial Director and includes a competitive bonus structure based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Market Management: Lead and manage Yuzefi’s wholesale operations across all global markets, ensuring alignment with the brand’s strategic objectives.
- Collaboration with Regional Agents and Distributors: Work closely with regional agents and distributors to optimize sales performance, strengthen relationships, and ensure effective market penetration.
- Paris Fashion Week Showroom: Organize and manage the Yuzefi showroom at Paris Fashion Week twice a year, showcasing our latest collections to buyers and securing orders.
- Wholesale Revenue Forecasting: Develop and manage wholesale revenue forecasts, ensuring financial targets are met and expenditures are controlled.
- Sell-Through Reports and Analysis: Monitor in-season sell-through rates, providing detailed reports and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Retail Pack Creation: Design and distribute retail packs tailored to the needs of retailers in different territories, ensuring consistent brand presentation and support.
- New Store Pitches: Identify and pitch to potential new retail partners, expanding Yuzefi’s retail footprint and driving brand growth.
- Strategic Reporting: Provide regular updates and comprehensive reports to the Founder and Commercial Director on market performance, sales trends, and strategic initiatives.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute key wholesale events and trade shows, ensuring successful promotion and sales of Yuzefi products.
- Market Research: Conduct ongoing market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, informing strategic decisions.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achieving and exceeding sales growth targets
- Securing new retail accounts
- Maintaining high sell-through rates
- Successful execution and outcomes of key events like Paris Fashion Week
- Overall performance and contribution to the company's strategic goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in wholesale management within the fashion industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing global markets and working with regional agents and distributors.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in managing large-scale events such as fashion week showrooms.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and wholesale management systems such as JOOR and Zedonk.
