Experience required…


Essential:

Demonstratable skills and experience in Highways and/or Traffic design and at the more Senior level project management and team leadership.

Areas of expertise may include: Major (National Highways) and Minor (Local Authority) Highway Design, Traffic Management, Traffic Calming, Active Travel, Signing and Lining, Road Safety, Traffic Regulation Orders and Public Rights of Way.

Competency in the use of DMRB, TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, Road Traffic Regulation Act, Manual for Streets and other local authority standards.

Relevant experience in design software such as CAD/Civils 3D/KeySign & KeyLine where appropriate.

Knowledge of Active Travel Design and LTN 1/20

Public or private sector experience.

Full UK driving license



Desirable:

Educated to HNC / HND level in a Civil Engineering discipline or equivalent.

Hold an appropriate professional qualification
