Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager / Site Supervisor to join our team. This role will be based on construction sites for major energy projects, during the installation of our noise control projects and enclosures. The successful candidate will oversee the construction and installation process, manage subcontractor installation partners, and ensure quality, health & safety standards are met. As the first-line contact of Merford on site, the Project Manager / Site Supervisor will also handle customer interactions and updates.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and Oversight: oversee the construction and installation of noise control projects and enclosures on various sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
  • Subcontractor Management: coordinate and manage subcontractor installation partners, ensuring they meet the Merford high standards and project requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: monitor and enforce quality standards throughout the construction and installation process, addressing any issues promptly to maintain high-quality outcomes.
  • Health and Safety Management: implement and oversee health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and promoting a safe working environment.
  • Customer Interaction: act as the primary point of contact for customers on-site, conducting regular update meetings and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Documentation and Reporting: maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, safety inspections, and quality checks.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on noise control or related fields.
  • Possess knowledge and/or understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to represent Merford professionally to clients, subcontractors and the internal organization (technology design and project leaders).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in an industrial environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges on-site.

Our group of companies, Noise Control, Special Doors and Acoustic Materials operate under the Merford flag, located in the Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
