Job Description

We’re recruiting for a Compliance Monitoring Consultantto join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary and strong benefits package.

This role can be based in Hove, London or Cardiff and the team are usually in the office 2 or 3 days a week.

As this is a Group level role you will get a deep understanding of L&G and our different products and proposition

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing oversight of first line activities by monitoring and investigating risks
  • Focusing on Conduct Risk and Consumer Outcome but also getting involved in Operational risk reviews
  • Ensuring that any suggested changes and remediations are implemented quicky and to high standards
  • Providing subject matter expertise to Monitoring work and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of conduct risk developments
  • Developing strong relationships across first and second line functions to enable effective communication and quick resolution of any problems

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

  • Ideally you will have a good understanding of the FCA handbook in relation to life insurance and pension products
  • A background in second line risk management
  • Regulatory risk experience and an understanding of conduct risk and customer outcomes
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to challenge, influence and implement change
