The role:
As Assistant Product Manager you will support the Product Managers on the complete product cycle from product cost, potential cost negotiation depending on product category, SAP administration (including material master data), order lead-time, shipping method, local repack requirement, through to delivery and invoice to ensure maximum efficiency of fulfilment. The role has a strong focus on data analysis therefore as Assistant Product Manager you will have a keen interest and proficiency in both Excel and data analysis.
This role is a fixed-term Maternity Cover position with an expected duration of 10 months.
Person Requirements:
- Good numerical ability, with an aptitude for data analysis and report writing.
- Strong PC Skills, including Excel proficiency
- SAP experience would be a distinct advantage
- Supply chain experience would be a distinct advantage
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Well organised and thorough with good attention to detail, even under pressure
- Ability to build rapport and working relationships with colleagues and customers
- Adaptable and flexible and be motivated to learn new tasks and processes quickly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Confident & personable with a can-do attitude
