STEM Academic Mentor

We are looking to fill the following positions:

  • Science Academic Mentor
  • Biology Academic Mentor
  • Physics Academic Mentor
  • Chemistry Academic Mentor

About the STEM Academic Mentor Role;

- Supervising group activities

- Developing programmes of learning activities,

- Adapting appropriate materials for lessons,

- Taking small groups for interventions to ensure all students get the most out of their education,

- Supporting KS3 and KS4 students in and out of lessons- potential for KS5 for candidates strong subject knowledge

- £105 - £110 per day

- Long-term, full-time - Monday to Friday - No weekends

- Contract starting September 2024 through till July 2025 as a minimum

- Fantastic opportunity to receive salaried teacher training.

- Strong academic background

o 1:1 or 2:1 from a reputable university

- Excellent communication,

- Fun-loving and personable,

- Passion for education,

- Drive to continue training and development.

STEM Academic Mentor- About the School

- Located in Tower Hamlets,

- Productive CPD to help you get to the top of your game,

- Staff such as educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, and special education needs professionals to work alongside, giving you the opportunity to shadow and gain experience
